We are seeking a Mid-Senior level Finance professional with expertise in accounting and leadership to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Job Description

The Senior Accountant role involves performing end-to-end General Ledger Accounting, partnering with the Finance Controller for ASC 606 recording and commission expense reporting, and designing processes for capitalizing software development costs under ASC 350.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial reports to senior leadership, leading projects requiring technical accounting research, GAAP compliance, and memo preparation, and identifying process and system improvements.

In addition, the Senior Accountant will participate in software implementations, process upgrades, and cross-training initiatives, and take ownership of special projects, ad hoc reports, and general accounting duties as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CPA with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience
  • 2-3 years in Big 4 audit or multinational companies
  • At least 2 years working with U.S. clients (insurance and tech company experience is a plus)
  • Strong exposure to ASC 606
  • QuickBooks, Bill.com and Credit Card transaction
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while acting with integrity and professionalism
