The role of a senior finance professional is to play a key part in the strategic development of an organization. This involves working closely with senior management to identify financial opportunities and develop plans to achieve them.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing financial models to forecast revenue and expenses.
  • Preparing and submitting financial reports to management, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensuring that all financial processes and systems are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Maintaining accounting records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing advice to management on financial matters, including investment decisions and funding options.
  • Collaborating with other departments to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a senior finance role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Experience with hospitality-specific financial challenges, including revenue management, seasonal forecasting, and F&B cost control.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with financial software, including Sage and QuickBooks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
