Project Director: Architectural and Quantity Surveying Expert

Seeking an experienced professional with a background in architectural and quantity surveying practices. This role involves preconstruction activities, technical oversight of project execution, contract setup, and post-contract management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of estimates, scheduling, scope creation, tender documentation, and communication with subcontractors.
  • Reviewing plans and proposing value-engineered alternatives.
  • Setup of contracts, including the coordination of JCT agreements.
  • Post-contract project management encompassing budget control, procurement, cash flow, and quality control.
  • Facilitation of handover processes, operation and maintenance, services, utilities, building control, and warranty management.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Proven experience in project management, architectural design, and quantity surveying within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, or similar tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
