Embedded Systems Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Systems Engineering Manager to lead our team in the development of innovative and efficient embedded systems.

  • Develop, implement, and optimize embedded firmware using C and C++ tailored for performance and reliability.
  • Design, implement, and optimize system architecture and hardware–software integration.
  • Plan, organize, and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Oversee system testing, debugging, and performance tuning to guarantee robust functionality.
  • Review code contributions, maintain coding standards, and mentor junior engineers to raise overall team capability.
  • Ensure adherence to documentation standards, version control practices, and quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full development lifecycle of embedded solutions, from concept through deployment.
  • Define technical specifications, project scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
  • Collaborate across hardware, firmware, and UI/UX teams to align on technical and functional goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience developing with ESP32 microcontrollers or equivalent embedded hardware platforms.
  • Strong expertise in C and C++ programming for firmware, with a focus on efficiency and reliability in embedded systems.
  • Solid understanding of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth for device interfacing.
  • Familiarity with RTOS, multitasking, and resource-constrained environments in embedded systems development.
  • Proven leadership experience overseeing cross-functional teams and delivering end-to-end IoT or software projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, debugging tools, and modern development environments.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and resolve technical challenges.
  • Capacity to balance hands-on technical contributions with project management and strategic oversight.
