Key Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled professional to assist our mortgage broker team in delivering exceptional loan services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in mortgage processes and proficiency in industry-standard software.

  • Support the mortgage broker throughout the loan application process.
  • Assist brokers at all stages of the loan process, from initial contact through to settlement.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to mortgage brokers and their applications.
  • Request client information and liaise with clients directly to gather supporting information.
  • Conduct needs analysis, serviceability assessments, product assessment, and funding position based on clients' objectives and situations.
  • Research lender policies and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare loan comparisons and provide accurate data entry.
  • Prepare and package client loan applications and ensure all supporting documentation is as per bank requirements.
  • Lender follow-up and status reporting.
  • Take ownership of compliance-related matters and ensure all documentation and data is captured in the CRM system.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum 2 years Australian experience supporting a mortgage broker or banking/lending industry.
  • Experience with Aggregator CRM software and Applyonline/Simpology (LoanApp) lodgment systems.
  • Passionate about delivering quality client outcomes and providing excellent customer service.
  • Understanding of data privacy, the Australian Best Interest Duty, and Responsible Lending legislation.
  • Accountable and accurate in work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work in a cohesive and high-paced environment.
  • Well-presented and detail-oriented.
  • Able to understand financial documents and assess PAYG applications.
  • Great team player with a strong work ethic.
  • IT savvy and able to learn software quickly.
  • Highly organized and proficient at multi-tasking.
