Senior Engineering Manager for Next-Gen Silicon Platforms

We are looking for a seasoned engineering leader to drive the success of our Ubuntu platform on the latest silicon hardware.

About the Role

The Senior Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to optimize and enable Ubuntu on various silicon platforms. This includes working closely with our silicon partners, driving engineering processes, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

  • Lead a team of engineers to develop and maintain high-quality software components for next-gen silicon platforms.
  • Collaborate with silicon vendors to optimize Ubuntu performance and ensure compatibility.
  • Implement disciplined engineering processes to ensure quality, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing software engineering teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux and operational systems software.
  • Familiarity with Debian/Ubuntu or other distro packaging.
  • Fluency in C, C++, and Python programming languages.
