Chief Data Infrastructure Specialist

This is a crucial role in our organization's infrastructure. As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the core systems that power our global platform.
The database clusters and load balancers you manage are the backbone of the entire system, supporting thousands of companies worldwide in real time. Your work directly impacts the platform's speed, reliability, and scalability, enabling rapid expansion into new markets.
Every decision you make matters, and your expertise will help shape the foundation of a system that must be available 24/7 across multiple regions without fail.
Responsibilities:- Optimize MariaDB clusters and MaxScale load balancers for high availability.
- Administer Ubuntu Linux servers on Azure VMs, including patching, tuning, and automation.
- Manage and optimize Azure resources including Traffic Manager, load balancers, and networking.
- 3+ years as a MySQL or Maria DBA (cloud or hybrid).
- Strong skills in MariaDB clustering and replication preferred but not required.
- Hands-on Linux (Ubuntu) and Azure administration experience.
- Performance tuning, backup, and disaster recovery know-how.
