About this Role

We are seeking an Estimator to accurately perform takeoffs and costing for projects involving electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans. This is a full-time remote opportunity, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform takeoffs and cost estimates using Planswift or Bluebeam software with a focus on identifying and quantifying lighting fixtures and controls.
  • Review and interpret architectural and electrical drawings with attention to detail.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports showcasing expertise in data analysis and visualization.
  • Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates ensuring seamless communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Planswift or Bluebeam is essential with a strong understanding of electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is crucial for success in this role.
  • Prior experience in architectural and electrical projects as well as knowledge of lighting fixtures and controls is highly valued.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills are required with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
