As a Senior Risk Management Specialist at the Asian Development Bank, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial future of the Asia Pacific region. With a strong background in finance and risk management, you will implement and maintain the integrated operational risk management framework across various departments within the organization.

Job DescriptionAs a Senior Risk Management Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to:
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, guidelines, and processes to identify, measure, monitor, mitigate, and report operational risk in ADB headquarters and field offices;
- Analyze and support corporate transformation initiatives by incorporating operational risk management principles and methodologies;
- Design and develop relevant analytical tools and processes to support the monitoring and reporting of operational risk events;
- Organize workshops and knowledge sharing sessions to promote overall risk culture and strengthen the first line of defense and subject matter experts of operational risk domains;
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of operational risk processes and tools across different operational areas in ADB. Your expertise in risk management principles, methodologies, and tools will enable you to provide valuable insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics or related fields; OR a University degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics or related fields combined with at least 5 years of specialized experience in similar organizations;
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in financial institutions or multilateral/bilateral development organizations;
- Strong knowledge of development banking or financial institution products and processes as well as related internal controls and corporate governance;
- Demonstrated project management expertise and experience, including implementation and maintenance of operational risk information systems and data;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven relationship building skills and ability to communicate with senior managers;
