Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Professional to validate our digital banking builds meet business and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience testing features across mobile and web applications, ensuring functionality, usability, and reliability.

The role involves creating comprehensive test cases based on requirements and design documents, performing functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are upheld, and maintaining and executing manual test cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review requirements and design documents to develop thorough test plans.
  • Perform in-depth testing of digital banking builds/releases to identify defects and verify fixes.
  • Work closely with developers, product owners, and UX designers to guarantee high-quality standards.
  • Raise detailed and reproducible defect reports; confirm bug resolutions.
  • Manage and execute manual test cases to ensure consistent results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in QA testing (digital banking or fintech environment experience is advantageous).
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and system testing life cycles (STLC) in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proficient knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies.
  • Experience using Jira or similar project management tools.
  • Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman, and automation tools like BrowserStack is beneficial.
  • Detailed-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, especially digital banking trends.

This role requires an autonomous team player who can work independently and manage multiple testing tasks while maintaining a collaborative mindset.
