Key Revenue Accountant Role:

This is a critical position within the finance department, focusing on accurate and compliant revenue recognition. The team relies on high-quality, audit-ready financial data to reflect company performance and inform strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate will bring accounting experience, analytical skills, and effective communication abilities to manage operational and technical aspects of revenue recognition. Responsibilities include reviewing customer contracts, performing revenue allocations, maintaining revenue schedules, and supporting monthly and quarterly closes.

Key tasks include:

  • Assist in monthly revenue accounting close activities by preparing journal entries and performing key account reconciliations.
  • Support revenue reporting and analysis by monitoring customer usage.
  • Review standard and non-standard contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP.
  • Contribute to the order-to-cash process, ensuring proper revenue recognition and compliance.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong preferences for relevant certifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in SaaS revenue accounting with a focus on ASC 606.
  • Proficiency with ERP and revenue tools such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and CPQ.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support both strategic and hands-on work.
