Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for performing a range of accounting tasks including tax return preparation, bookkeeping, research, reconciliation, and budgeting.

  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare accurate and complete tax returns for individuals and businesses using firm-ordered files and templates as needed.
  • Client Communication: Coordinate the collection of required documents and information from clients, ensuring timely submission of returns for review.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct independent research on necessary laws and regulations prior to submitting returns for review, providing expert analysis to support accuracy.
  • Budgeting and Planning: Prepare tax projections and planning tasks for clients, determining tax liability, salary requirements, and estimated payments.
  • Bookkeeping and Record Keeping: Perform external bookkeeping tasks, adjusting balance sheets, handling year-end adjustments, and providing QuickBooks support.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance-related field.
  • Proficiency in tax and accounting software/tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks, CCH Access/ProFX Tax, and others.
  • Licensed as a certified public accountant is a plus.
  • Excellent grasp of Microsoft 365 applications, verbal and written communication skills, and aptitude in data management, analytics, and reporting preparation.

You will work independently and autonomously, requiring excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
