Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Services Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end financial processing for Australia and New Zealand entities. Your primary objective will be to promptly, professionally, and courteously resolve questions received through the ticketing tool and email.

In a typical day, you will perform various tasks including preparation, reconciliation, filing/lodgment, and payment of statutory requirements for both Aus and NZ. You will also comply with government regulations and conduct audits of all financial records.

Your expertise in payroll processing and wage attachment is essential, as well as your knowledge of Kronos, Oracle HR, payroll, and general ledger systems. You will work closely with the Senior Manager, Payroll to deliver positive employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation, reconciliation, filing/lodgment, and payment of PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, IRD, Kiwi saver, and all statutory requirements for both Aus and NZ.
  • Comply with government's statutory requirements.
  • Conduct audits of all financial records.
  • Familiarize yourself and keep current with the taxation of salaries, benefits, and other factors.
  • Resolve financial discrepancies/queries by collecting and analyzing information.
Requirements
  • 3 years experience in AUS payroll.
  • Experience with payroll processing and wage attachment.
  • Knowledge of Kronos, Oracle HR, payroll, and general ledger systems.
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills in working with a diverse population.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
