IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT project manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects. The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery within scope and budget, coordinating with technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors to guarantee successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques.
  • Lead cross-functional teams for effective communication and collaboration.
  • Liaise with business leaders, IT teams, and third-party vendors for alignment.
  • Facilitate meetings, provide status updates, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during project execution.
  • Implement best practices for IT project management to minimize risks.
  • Define and manage project budgets for cost-effectiveness.
  • Allocate resources efficiently, balancing project demands and business priorities.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
  • Track project performance with detailed reports on project status, risks, and KPIs.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in IT project management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cloud computing.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  • Candidates must have necessary resources, hardware, and software.
