Digital Software Systems Manager

This role involves overseeing the technical and operational aspects of software applications within a business group.
The successful candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and availability of critical IT software applications that support the business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure and systems for data collection, storage, and analysis in an IT environment.
- Developing and optimizing data pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity, as well as efficient processing for analytics and reporting.
- Monitoring and ensuring optimal performance of IT-related software applications through constant monitoring with tools and applicable solutions.
- Defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Developing and managing detailed project plans to align resources, budget, and timelines with business objectives.
- Ensuring reliable, efficient, and scalable data pipelines for large-scale data processing.
- Developing, managing, and optimizing databases, data warehouses, and data lakes for secure, efficient, and accessible data storage.
- Implementing database solutions on cloud and/or on-premises platforms to optimize storage and query performance.
- A graduate degree in a relevant IT field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics and Communications Engineering.
- IT-relevant certificates are beneficial.
- Programming skills in languages like PHP, Java, Python, and RPA Development.
- Knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in code repository management, IT cybersecurity, or automation scripting.
- Proven ability to design/architect software applications and provide supervision/guidance to development teams.
