This position is responsible for performing technical and operational functions for the Information Technology (IT) software and related applications within the Renewable Business Group. The incumbent shall ensure the reliability, security, and availability of all IT software applications critical to the business.
The role involves designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure and systems for data collection, storage, and analysis in the IT & OT environment. Developing and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity, and enabling efficient data processing for analytics and reporting are key responsibilities.
IT SOFTWARE AND SYSTEMS
- Ensure IT & OT software applications operate optimally for daily use through constant monitoring.
- Report information and provide recommendations to the direct lead.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans aligning resources, budget, and timelines with business goals.
- Monitor project progress and address risks or roadblocks.
- Lead the creation, configuration, implementation, integration, and maintenance of software assets, coordinating with the lead and affected users.
- Perform system maintenance, updates, backups, and inform users of scheduled downtimes.
- Establish and support backup and disaster recovery processes.
- Manage, forecast, and procure software licenses, ensuring availability and compliance.
- Prepare, approve, and manage the team's budget (CAPEX & OPEX).
- Coordinate with IT Administrators on server management and cybersecurity compliance.
- Assist in implementing IT & OT policies, maintaining information security and confidentiality.
- Ensure cybersecurity standards are applied and report incidents.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on digital solutions.
- Provide end-user support for IT-related issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned and lead Data, Digital management, and Analytics initiatives.
DATABASE AND DATA MANAGEMENT
- Ensure reliable, efficient data pipelines for large-scale processing.
- Develop and optimize databases, data warehouses, and data lakes for secure and accessible data storage.
- Implement database solutions on cloud and on-premises platforms.
- Maintain data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
- Develop routines to monitor and resolve data issues.
- Optimize data processes to improve performance and reduce latency.
- Conduct performance tuning on data pipelines and queries.
- Create metrics, KPIs, and dashboards for data quality measurement.
- Document data workflows for transparency and reproducibility.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduates of IT-related degrees such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE).
- Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
- Programming skills in PHP, Java, Python, and RPA development.
- Knowledge of MYSQL, POSTGRESQL, and MSSQL databases.
- 6-10 years of related experience, including code repository management.
- Experience in IT cybersecurity and code patch management.
- Ability to guide development teams.
- Automation scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) are a plus.
- Proven ability to design and architect software applications.
- Experience with data management, digital solutions, and analytics tools like Appsheet, PowerBI, Tableau.
