Job Title: Senior Financial Management Advisor

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned financial management professional to join our team as a Senior Financial Management Advisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on financial management, budgeting, and accounting practices to various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include assessing the financial management capacity and internal controls systems of organizations, identifying weaknesses and risk areas, and recommending improvements. The role also involves reviewing draft agreements, leading the design of financial systems and processes, and developing financial management capacity building plans.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, with a minimum of 20 years of experience in progressively responsible positions in accountancy and financial management. They must possess excellent knowledge of financial control processes and protocols, as well as strong report writing and presentation skills.

Other essential requirements include fluency in English, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Strong IT proficiency and awareness of a multicultural environment are also highly desirable.
