Job Title: Portfolio Leasing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Portfolio Leasing Manager to oversee the leasing operations for our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a proven track record of driving occupancy and managing the entire leasing lifecycle, from initial inquiry to lease execution.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Leasing & Marketing Strategy:
      • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants for vacant units, focusing on digital marketing channels and social media advertising.
      • Manage online listings, respond to all inquiries promptly, and conduct virtual or in-person property tours to showcase the properties' unique features and amenities.
      • Follow up with prospective tenants to move them through the leasing pipeline, providing timely updates and support throughout the process.
    • Tenant Screening & Application Processing:
      • Process rental applications, including conducting background checks, credit checks, and verifying employment and rental history to ensure compliance with fair housing laws and company policies.
      • Ensure all screening processes are conducted in strict compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Lease Administration & Renewals:
      • Prepare, negotiate, and execute all lease agreements and related addenda with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring that all necessary documents are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
      • Manage the lease renewal process, proactively reaching out to current residents to secure renewals and minimize vacancies.
    • Reporting & Market Analysis:
      • Maintain accurate records of all leasing activity in the property management software, tracking key metrics such as occupancy rates, leasing traffic, and market trends.
      • Prepare regular reports on leasing performance, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
      • Conduct market analysis to ensure rental rates are competitive and aligned with market conditions, making data-driven decisions to optimize revenue and profitability.
    • Relationship Management:
      • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with prospective and current tenants, responding to questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
      • Address tenant complaints and issues promptly, resolving disputes and finding mutually beneficial solutions.
