Key to our success is finding sales professionals with a strong track record of delivering results in the technology sector.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working in tech sales and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating leads and opportunities using cold calling and email outreach, while maintaining a robust CRM system.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand client needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.

Your primary roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers (internal and external) to generate leads and opportunities
  • Developing a deep understanding of Black Box offerings and being able to clearly articulate our value proposition to global customers
  • Carrying and achieving an individual quota in excess of $2M USD annually
  • Orchestrating complex solutions for customers using strong collaboration across geographies, functions and time zones
  • Maintaining a high volume of customer touches and meeting or exceeding call time expectations
  • Creating quotes and working with internal pricing systems and tech teams to develop competitive proposals
  • Negotiating prices and terms with partners, vendors and OEMs
  • Demonstrating excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Achieving performance targets established by leadership for applicable Key Performance Indicators

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Sales or Business or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • A personality that allows you to engage global accounts at executive level, both external customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong prior experience in inside sales and working with global accounts
