GitOps Engineering Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced GitOps Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading our devops and gitops engineering efforts, driving the development and implementation of infrastructure as code solutions, and ensuring the seamless operation of our systems.

You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior engineers, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing processes to enhance team productivity and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in software delivery using infrastructure as code
  • Experience managing devops teams for SAAS or similar offerings
  • Understanding of testing methodologies and maintainable code quality
  • Technical aptitude for understanding complex distributed systems
  • Experience with cloud topologies and technologies
  • Ability to travel twice a year for company events up to two weeks long
  • An exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
