Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to play a pivotal role in the design, implementation and delivery of key infrastructure components across multiple cloud platforms.

This position requires collaboration with team leads, product management, and engineers across various domains to understand technical requirements and ensure designs meet long-term business needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead specific infrastructure projects from initial design to final deployment and maintenance.
  • Respond to alerts, troubleshoot, and remediate issues.
  • Eliminate manual tasks via configuration management tools.
  • Ensure high availability and scalability of infrastructure services.
  • Coordinate with technology leads on developing, testing, and implementing global standards and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Solid understanding of Linux operating system, command line utilities, and conventional system administration tools.
  • Strong hands-on scripting skills with expertise in multiple languages such as Python, Bash, and Ruby.
  • Exposure to configuration management tools like Ansible and SaltStack.
  • Experience with Agile development process, secure infrastructure designs, deployment principles, infrastructure as code, continuous integration and delivery, configuration management techniques, and modern container-delivered code deployment in a cloud-based DevOps environment.
  • Knowledge of public cloud services like compute, storage, networking, and security groups, virtual private clouds, and identity management.
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or relevant field experience.
