We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable paralegal to support our attorneys in civil/business litigation and family law matters. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience and demonstrate strong legal knowledge, case management skills, and the ability to provide consistent and reliable support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in handling family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, financial disclosures, and social service coordination.">
  • Conduct client interviews related to domestic disputes, civil litigation, and family matters.">
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, declarations, and discovery requests/responses.">
  • Prepare evidence, legal arguments, and documentation for hearings and trials.">
  • Research legal information and validate findings for accuracy and relevance.">
  • Coordinate with clients, courts, and third-party professionals as needed.">
  • Maintain accurate billing and time entries based on assigned cases.">
  • Prepare written reports and legal correspondence for attorney review.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Family Law and/or Civil Litigation is required.">
  • Demonstrated experience working in or supporting California-based law firms is preferred.">
  • A strong understanding of case workflows, court procedures, and legal terminology is essential.">
  • Familiarity with billing practices and meeting billable hour requirements is necessary.">
  • A proven track record of stable employment (minimum of 1 full year tenure per role preferred) is desirable.">
  • The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and handle confidential information with discretion is crucial.">
  • Proficiency in legal software, document management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite is required.">
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a plus but not a requirement.">
  • Candidates with frequent short-term employment (e.g., multiple roles under 6 months) will not be prioritized.">
