Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Caerus Food Innovation Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients according to recipes and portion sizes, ensuring that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and doneness level.
  • Cooking and Seasoning: Cook and season food according to specifications and quality standards, using various cooking methods such as grilling, frying, sautéing, or baking.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of ingredients and notify the kitchen head or head chef of any shortages.
  • Workstation Maintenance: Organize and maintain a clean and efficient workstation, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are in good working order.
  • Quality Control: Conduct visual and taste tests to ensure that food meets quality standards before serving.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
  • Skillset: Strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
