We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions for web applications.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications by developing and enhancing test automation. This involves designing, building, and maintaining clean, reliable, and scalable automated tests using WebDriverIO, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

  • Develop and enhance test automation scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications.
  • Design and implement efficient testing frameworks to reduce testing time and increase accuracy.

In addition to test automation, the successful candidate will also be responsible for integrating testing into our CI/CD pipelines, analyzing test results, troubleshooting failures, and ensuring that quality gates are met for every release.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern features like async/await and Promises.
  • Hands-on experience with any JS-based testing framework; deep experience with WebDriverIO, Cypress, or Playwright is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of the Page Object Model (POM) and experience building scalable test automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows, including branching, pull requests, and resolving merge conflicts.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) and integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
  • Critical ability to automate API tests and understand RESTful services.
