Job Description

This role is a pivotal part of our Fit-Out Services department, responsible for overseeing and managing central ordering processes to ensure efficient and timely procurement of materials and services. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to execute all ordering activities effectively and align them with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the central ordering team in purchasing materials and services, ensuring accurate and timely orders, adhering to budget constraints, and project timelines.
  • Managing supplier performance and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitoring inventory levels to ensure materials are available when needed without overstocking, implementing inventory management best practices to minimize waste and optimize storage space.
  • Continuously assessing and improving ordering processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, implementing new technologies and systems as necessary.
  • Collaborating with centre delivery managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure that all ordering activities support project goals.
  • Preparing and presenting regular reports on ordering activities, supplier performance, and cost savings, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably within the construction or fit-out industry.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team, with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems.
