Job Title

A highly skilled Bookkeeper is needed to manage the financial transactions of complex Australian businesses. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of accounting software and have experience with multi-currency transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable, including capturing bills, coding, and reconciling transactions.
  • Coding and querying daily bank feeds to identify anomalies and ensure accurate transactions.
  • Conduct complex reconciliations involving multi-currency wallets, inventory, and payment gateways.
  • Handle accounts receivable and credit control, including issuing invoices, sending statements, and following up on overdue balances.
  • Assist in month-end close procedures, including posting accruals, depreciation, and FX revaluations, as well as reconciling balance-sheet accounts.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of AU bookkeeping experience.
  • Advanced Xero certification, power-user in Dext, and proficiency in key third-party apps such as Shopify and Deputy.
  • Proven experience with complex reconciliations, cash-flow management, multi-currency, and inventory management.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and index-match functions.
  • Diploma of Accounting or higher.
