Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee all financial operations for our organization.
About the Position:
The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for leading the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This individual will also oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Oversight of the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and local regulations.
- Providing detailed financial analyses and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Leadership of the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitoring of budget performance and recommendation of corrective actions where needed.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Maintenance of optimal cash flow levels by management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury functions.
- Forecasting of cash flow needs to support business operations and growth initiatives.
- Compliance and Audit:
- Adherence to all regulatory requirements, including tax filings and audits in Mexico and the United States.
- Coordination with external auditors to complete audits efficiently.
- Process Optimization:
- Development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and security.
- Leverage of technology and software tools to improve financial processes and reporting.
- Team Leadership:
- Management and mentorship of the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align financial operations with business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive financial management experience, ideally in a software or tech company.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with financial regulations in Mexico.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and financial planning tools.
- Experience working with cross-border financial operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
