Financial Operations Manager

The primary objective of this role is to oversee and manage the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This includes managing day-to-day financial operations, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, as well as performing regular bank reconciliations.
Main Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and rent roll/property accounts payable and receivable
- Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow forecasts
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of company bank accounts and credit cards
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring they are compliant with industry standards and regulations
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with Australian taxation laws
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar financial role, preferably with strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in MYOB is required
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with confidentiality
