Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Summary:

The primary objective of this position is to ensure the efficient removal of deposits from power plant condensers and heat exchangers, thereby restoring their optimal operating performance. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a critical role that involves mobilizing at short notice to travel and perform work in various customer facilities across the country. The successful candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment on the job site.

This is a 100% traveling job, requiring overnight stays throughout the US.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manually clean condenser and heat exchange tubes using a water pump system with assorted tube cleaners.
  • Read pressure gauges to identify drops and/or rises in pressure from the water pump system.
  • Lift, transport, assemble/reassemble, carry or otherwise move and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs when loading/unloading vehicles and setting up at job sites.
  • Inventory trailers to ensure they are ready for use after each job.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all service equipment.
  • Set up support equipment as needed, such as generators and compressors.
  • Adhere to the Employee's Responsibilities section outlined in our company's Safety Policies & Procedure Manual.
