Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Line Technician:

  • Set-up, troubleshoot machine / equipment. Tools based on production schedule.
  • Calibrates machine / equipment's / tools with correct parameters in order to bring about smooth machine operation.
  • Attains target uptime per machine.
  • Guides production personnel on proper and correct machine operations.
  • Performs periodic preventive maintenance to ensure consistent performance with high degree of productivity and reliability.

Process:

  • Provides technical assistant to the Process Engineer on yield analysis as well as failure analysis and engineering evaluation.
  • Act as liaison for the Process Engineer during the engineer's absence.
  • Provide technical assistant to production, QC/QA and other engineering sections
  • Prepares & release daily assembly yields
  • Initiates leadership in the resolution of process issues through meetings with production, QC/QA inspectors and line technicians.
  • Provide technical guidance to new technicians
  • Attend technical training sessions

Product:

  • Perform prompt Failure Analysis (FA) steps on test rejects of all Low Yield Trigger (LYT) lots.
  • Provide detailed failure phenomenon to define the most effective containment/treatment action in order to ensure good units are really good without reliability issue.
  • Document the detailed failure analysis, corrective and preventive actions in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to follow thru the effectiveness and monitor the succeeding lots.
  • Support Test/Product/Process Engineering on Lot Rejection Notice (LRN), Inspection Trouble Report (ITR) and Discrepant Material Report (DMR) assessment and ensure zero recurrence.
  • Maintain 5S for all testers, test handlers and work stations at all times.
  • Support any additional requests from customer or superior during the course of work.

Qualifications:

  • College/Associate graduate or Undergrad of any Technology course (Industrial, Electronics, Mechatronics) or College Undergrad of any Engineering course
  • Preferably with at least 1 year experience as Process or Product Technician in a semiconductor or manufacturing company
  • Knowledge on presentation and spreadsheet will be an added advantage
  • Willing to relocate in Pampanga
  • Can start anytime.
