Fire Alarm Service Manager/Customer Service

The Fire Alarm Service Manager plays a pivotal role in managing service operations, coordinating technicians, and ensuring prompt responses to customer inquiries.

  • Provide exceptional support to customers with fire alarm-related concerns
  • Respond promptly to emergency service needs, even outside of regular hours
  • Schedule service calls based on priority and availability, optimizing resource deployment
  • Coordinate and schedule technicians efficiently, ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Communicate effectively with customers via email, addressing their service requests, inquiries, and follow-ups
  • Keep customers informed about service status through timely notifications and updates
  • Analyze fire alarm system issues remotely, determining whether a technician's visit is necessary
  • Select the most suitable technician for each issue, considering its complexity
  • Maintain detailed records of services rendered and ensure compliance with industry standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting fire alarm systems and resolving technical issues
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to diagnose issues remotely and provide effective solutions
  • Experience in coordinating technicians and managing service schedules
  • Familiarity with fire alarm industry regulations and compliance standards
  • Knowledge of service management tools or scheduling software is beneficial
