Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT professional to join our team as an EUC Helpdesk Support.

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide Innovative Solutions: Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  2. Ensure SLA Adherence: Meet or exceed Service Level Agreement targets for Help Topics, guaranteeing timely resolutions.
  3. Data Collection: Gather essential information before escalating issues, ensuring accurate diagnosis and resolution.
  4. Server Monitoring: Respond promptly to server notification emails, maintaining seamless infrastructure.
  5. Process Documentation: Maintain up-to-date support-related processes and procedures.
  6. Network Equipment Installation and Administration: Install and manage network equipment, including routers, gateways, switches, access points, wireless controllers, printers, and IP phones.
  7. Server Hardware and Software Installations and Configurations: Perform server hardware and software installations and configurations.
  8. NMS Monitoring and Alerts: Manage Network Management System (NMS) monitoring and alerts.
  9. Daily and Quarterly Maintenance: Conduct daily and quarterly network and system maintenance.
  10. System Log Management: Manage system log, backup/restore, replication, and migration.
  11. Script Development: Create basic scripts for system automation and integration (PHP/Perl/Bash/Python).
  12. Application Testing: Conduct basic to intermediate application testing and report bugs.
  13. Scheduled Hardware Maintenance: Execute scheduled hardware maintenance.
  14. Incident Reporting: Manage Incident Reports and provide weekly IT-related project and issue reports.
  15. Additional Tasks: Perform additional tasks assigned by Immediate Superiors.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Degree in IT or related discipline; fresh graduates welcome.
  • Certifications: Preferably CISCO certified or holding any IT-related certifications.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in an IT-related field preferred but not required.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills with strong knowledge of network or dialer equipment.
  • Windows Operating System Proficiency: Proficient in Windows Operating System and Windows server applications.
  • Networking Knowledge: Knowledgeable in patch management, firewalls, proxy, etc.
  • Linux, VPN, and SQL Database Administration: Experience with Linux, VPN, and SQL Database administration.
  • Server-Side Scripting: Proficient in server-side scripting (PHP/Perl/Bash/Python).
  • Collaboration Skills: Experience collaborating with 3rd party service providers.
  • Logical Thinking: Strong logic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Prioritization: Ability to handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills.
