Transportation Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Specialist to transport goods safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to on-time delivery.

The Transportation Specialist will be responsible for operating a trailer truck, transporting goods, and ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a trailer truck in transporting goods.
  • Ensure safe transportation of goods by following all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Interact professionally with clients and other drivers.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the truck.
  • Follow safety protocols, port regulations, and client delivery procedures.
  • Report any accidents or incidents immediately to the supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of experience driving a trailer truck.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (LTO-issued) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to troubleshoot reefer container and Genset preferred.
  • Ability to drive heavy equipment preferred.
  • Strong navigation and time management skills to ensure on-time delivery.
