
Senior HRIS Systems Specialist

The HRIS Lead will be responsible for implementing, optimizing and maintaining the Workday system to enhance operational efficiency and data integrity.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyzing processes, and providing solutions that align with business needs and industry best practices. Additionally, the role involves system implementation, requirements gathering, data analysis, troubleshooting, user training, reporting and analytics, process improvement and documentation.
- System Implementation: Assist in the deployment of Workday modules, ensuring configurations align with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements for system enhancements and process improvements.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and validate data within the Workday system, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all modules.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system issues, providing support to users and acting as a liaison between IT and business teams.
- User Training: Develop and deliver training sessions and materials for end-users to maximize system utilization and efficiency.
- Reporting and Analytics: Provide guidance on reports and dashboards within Workday to support decision-making and track key performance indicators.
- Process Improvement: Recommend process enhancements based on system capabilities and user feedback to improve workflows and efficiency.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Experience in Workday components such as Core HCM, Onboarding, Absence Management, Time Tracking, Benefits, Talent/Performance, and Advanced Compensation is also required. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology or a related field and 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with Workday or similar HRIS/ERP systems.
