Job Title: Quantitative Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with exceptional analytical skills to serve as a Quantitative Estimator.

This role requires reviewing architectural and engineering drawings, project plans, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects. The selected candidate will analyze historical data and pricing trends to enhance the precision of estimates.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of experience as an estimator (3+ years preferred), proficiency with estimating software (e.g., ProEst, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating), and strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and analyzing drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Preparing time, cost, and labor estimates for construction projects.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to provide accurate and competitive bids.
  • Developing and maintaining databases of unit costs, productivity rates, and supplier pricing.
  • Participating in bid reviews and risk analysis discussions.

Requirements include:

  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Trello).
  • Knowledge of local building codes and permit processes.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
