Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator & Takeoff Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and takeoffs, with the ability to read and interpret construction plans accurately. Proficiency with tools such as Smart Glazier and Google Sheets is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from construction drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret construction plans to identify project scope, materials, and labor requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate budgeting and project execution.
  • Utilize Smart Glazier software to create detailed takeoffs and estimates.
  • Organize and track data using Google Sheets to ensure all information is up to date and accessible.
  • Identify potential issues or discrepancies in plans and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain consistent communication with team members to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy in all deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in estimating and takeoffs in the construction industry.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Proficiency in Smart Glazier and Google Sheets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (EST)
