Financial Reporting Specialist

The Financial Reporting Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health of an organization by ensuring accurate and reliable financial records. This involves supporting financial reporting and audit activities, as well as analyzing financial data to inform decision-making and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including books of accounts.
  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including lapsing schedule preparation and bank reconciliation.
  • Manage consolidated schedules of balance sheets and income statement accounts.
  • Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial and management reports.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • CPA license is an advantage but not required.
