About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Trade Manager to join our team. As a Key Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales and trade function, driving business growth, and achieving targeted profitability.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Business Plans: Prepare annual customer business plans, lead joint business planning, and ensure alignment with customer priorities.
  • Sales and Trade Calls: Conduct regular selling and retail calls to drive business growth and achieve volume budgets.
  • Issue Resolution and Negotiation: Lead issue resolution and negotiation with customers to draw out solutions and drive business outcomes.
  • Category and Customer Insights: Lead the sell-in and negotiation of major business development programs based on sound shopper and category insights.
  • Order and Inventory Management: Guide customers in planning order and inventory patterns to minimize returns and optimize trade spend.
  • Forecasting and Inventory Management: Responsible for submitting customer forecasts and ensuring alignment with customer commitments.
  • Bad Order Stocks and Inventory Management: Check and manage inventory in the trade to reduce or prevent bad order stocks and cases of expiring products.
  • Program Development and Execution: Jointly develop and lead the execution of programs, such as promotions and merchandising drives.
  • Category and Customer Strategy: Review customers' business strategy and tactics, and implement brand and trade programs at the store level.
  • Category and Customer Business Building Programs: Champion major category and customer business building programs from conceptualization to implementation.
  • Indirect Coaching: Provide indirect coaching to agency representatives who support sales and the total company.
  • Partnerships and Relationship Building: Build productive partnerships with customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 2+ Years of Experience in modern trade and account management, preferably in FMCG or food and beverage manufacturing.
  • Trade Program Execution and Merchandising knowledge.
  • Background in Trade Spend Management and Negotiations.

Work Setup and Location

This role involves On-site/Field Sales work, with a Day shift schedule (Monday to Friday) located in Cebu.
