Business Intelligence Developer Position

This is a full-time remote role for a Business Intelligence Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI tools.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with APIs, data modeling, administration, and visualization. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, design reports and dashboards, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the field of Business Intelligence.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data modeling, administration, and visualization.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, data gateway, and data preparation projects.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS components of the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack.
  • Familiarity with the tools and technologies used by the Microsoft SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, Power BI, and DAX.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking skills for converting data into illuminating reports.

Job Requirements

The following skills are required for this position:

  • Expertise in SQL queries, SSRS, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of database management systems, OLAP, and the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) framework.
  • Awareness of BI technologies, such as Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
