Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team as a key member of our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely journal entries and closing activities in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain the accuracy of AP transactions, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  • Assist in the generation of monthly payable reports for senior management to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Reconcile AP's general ledger and subsidiary ledger on a regular basis to ensure financial integrity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the team's goals and objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting graduate, preferably with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification and at least 5 years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero to efficiently manage AP processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including night shifts and public holidays as required by the organization.
  • Must be amenable to working in Alabang, Muntinlupa when necessary to support business operations.
