Procure to Pay Specialist Role

This is a challenging opportunity to work as a Procure to Pay specialist in a dynamic organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily procure to pay activities such as invoice processing, expense reports and month-end closing tasks.
  • Ensure performance meets service level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Review and process incoming invoices into the accounting system accurately and on time.
  • Coding and booking invoices according to the company's chart of accounts.
  • Verify that invoices comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Audit travel and expense liquidations in accordance with rules and regulations.
  • Process prepayments and follow up on prepaid invoices.
  • Handle supplier statements and vendor inquiries.
  • Support colleagues regarding accounting information.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders about procure to pay transactions.
  • Follow up on match exceptions and coordinate with business and procurement for resolution.
  • Work closely with reconciliation team to ensure no AP transactions are outstanding.
  • Follow up on long-outstanding items in the Accounts Payable Trial Balance (Ageing).
  • Follow up on open Purchase Orders and invoices on hold.
  • Prepare and review accruals and other month-end procure to pay transactions.
  • Assist in AP Subledger close and other month-end activities.
  • Ensure completion and sign-off of monthly checklists by P2P team.

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Business or Finance.
  2. General knowledge of accounting principles.
  3. At least 2 years of professional experience in procure to pay.
  4. Experience with financial systems, knowledge of Oracle E Business Suite is advantageous.
