Accounts Payable Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately processing and validating accounts payable transactions, investigating and resolving discrepancies in vendor accounts and payments, and preparing, updating, and maintaining accurate financial records and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and validate accounts payable transactions in line with company policies.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in vendor accounts and payments.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to secure timely approvals and payment processing.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities for accounts payable.
  • Build and maintain positive vendor relationships by addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations and compliance requirements in all transactions.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements within the Accounts Payable function.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Skilled in accounting systems and MS Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative work approach.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
