Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting professional to join our team. As an AP Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of financial transactions, ensuring timely payments, and analyzing variances.

  • Preparation of journal entries and closing activities: You will be responsible for recording and posting financial transactions, including journal entries and closing activities, to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Accuracy of AP transactions: You will verify the accuracy of accounts payable transactions, ensuring that all invoices are correctly processed and paid on time.
  • Store's AP aging: You will monitor and maintain the store's accounts payable aging, ensuring that all outstanding invoices are paid within the agreed-upon terms.
  • Monthly Payable reports: You will assist in generating monthly payable reports for the client's controller, providing detailed information on accounts payable transactions.
  • GL and SL reconciliation: You will reconcile general ledger (GL) and subsidiary ledger (SL) accounts to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Additional duties: You will perform other duties assigned by your superior, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting graduate: We require a Bachelor of Science in Accounting graduate, preferably with Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Accounting software expertise: You should have knowledge of accounting software, preferably SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero.
  • Organizational skills: You must be organized and possess keen attention to detail.
  • Work schedule flexibility: You must be willing to work night shift schedules (US hours) and during public holidays.
  • Office location: You must be able to work at Alabang, Muntinlupa when office work resumes.
