Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of MySQL database management, including performance tuning, optimization, and maintenance.

The Database Administrator will be responsible for administering and maintaining MySQL databases, with a strong focus on performance tuning, optimization, and maintenance. They will also support MS SQL Server administration, including regular maintenance, backup management, and performance monitoring.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to adapt, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in MySQL administration
  • Strong knowledge of storage engines (InnoDB vs MyISAM)
  • Proven expertise in query optimization and troubleshooting performance issues
  • Experience with deadlock resolution and transaction management
  • Familiarity with Zabbix monitoring or similar tools
