Job Overview

This is a critical position in our organization where you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement automation scripts, monitoring systems, and alerts to address issues proactively.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineer or similar role

Technical Skills
  • Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL including database design, performance tuning, and advanced querying techniques
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like AWS CDK
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or SigNoz
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Typescript
  • Proven ability to design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to debug complex issues in a distributed system and identify root causes

Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated with minimal oversight
  • Experience with incident management and on-call rotation
