Reliability Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Systems Engineer to join our team.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and microservices. They will be responsible for managing pipeline build and maintenance, engaging in the software development lifecycle, and monitoring system metrics and health.

The candidate must have a strong understanding of SRE principles and be able to work closely with software engineers, DevOps, and product teams to maintain robust infrastructure and automation for critical applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage pipeline build and maintenance per client tooling and standards.
  • Engage in the software development lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet availability, performance, security, and maintainability standards.
  • Monitor system metrics and health, analyze reports.
  • Support production and in-house systems; participate in on-call support.
  • Lead incident management, conduct root cause analysis, and perform post-incident reviews.
  • Implement system security and resiliency measures.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience.
  • Mandatory domain knowledge in card payments.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, PCF).
  • Knowledge of NoSQL & SQL databases (MongoDB, Oracle, Postgres).
  • Experience managing distributed systems and microservices.
  • Familiar with Unix tooling, scripting skills.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace).
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or similar.
  • Understanding of SLOs and SLAs.
  • Experience in SRE/DevOps teams, understanding principles.
  • Strong initiative, communication, and collaboration skills.
