Learning and Development Specialist

Job Overview
The Learning and Development Specialist at St. Luke's Medical Center plays a vital role in creating an engaging and productive work environment by designing and implementing effective training programs for hospital staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of the Section's annual plans, coordinating with Section Managers and other departments to ensure alignment with hospital goals.
- Research and recommend learning resources, technologies, and methodologies to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
- Coordinate meetings, encode documents, and perform administrative tasks as needed.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing training programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop diagnostic tools and instruments to assess employee needs and provide targeted interventions.
- Monitor progress, analyze results, and make recommendations for adjustments to training programs.
- Prepare presentation materials and reports on training outcomes for management review.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Behavioral Science, Psychology, or related field.
- At least one year of experience in Training and Development, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in office software applications and online learning platforms.
