We are seeking a dedicated Credentialing Specialist to handle credentialing needs for our clients.
Responsibilities- Perform Credentialing Tasks:
- Collect required documentation, including accreditation, membership, and facility privileges.
- Assist providers with completing payer forms and ensure compliance with payer expectations.
- Respond to provider inquiries about credentialing process progress.
- Alert clients of new regulations, expiring certificates, reapplications, and deficiencies in credentialing requirements.
- Maintain accurate and current client information using an online database.
- Drive the implementation of the automated credentialing workflow management system:
- Provide requirements to software developers.
- Review implementation.
- At least 2 years' experience in US-based credentialing processes.
- Familiarity with the US medical insurance industry.
- Excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously.
- Credentialing certification is required.
- High comfort level working on Eastern Time Zone/US Shift.
- Good internet access at home.
- Mobile Hotspot.
- Laptop/Desktop with at least 8 GB RAM.
