As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Relief for Autism/Emergence Coalition team. Your primary responsibility will be to review appeals for medical necessity, ensuring that carriers receive all relevant information with no additional requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, including provider credentialing, authorizations, and reimbursement. They will also possess excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with healthcare providers and carriers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze appeals for medical necessity
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and carriers
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of appeals
  • Follow up on appeal status and update the team accordingly
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing, including provider credentialing, authorizations, and reimbursement
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
