Marketing Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies tailored to multiple hotel properties.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, with experience in strategic planning, hands-on execution, and digital marketing. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy that drives occupancy and revenue growth.
  • Design and manage marketing campaigns across digital, print, and traditional channels.
  • Optimise the company's online presence—oversee website content/design, SEO, and social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with leadership to prepare estimated budgets and cost proposals for strategy implementation.
  • Work closely with sales to create promotional offers/packages that drive occupancy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, online booking platforms, and strategic partners.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and guest feedback to refine marketing and sales approaches.
  • Oversee creation of marketing collateral and promotional materials.
  • Monitor campaign performance, prepare monthly KPI reports, and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on both sales and marketing opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing within the hospitality or hotel industry.
  • Proven track record in both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel booking platforms, digital marketing, and brand positioning.
  • Experience in sales or business development in the hospitality sector is highly advantageous.
  • Website design and content management experience (WordPress or similar preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Strong budget management and KPI reporting skills.
  • Creative mindset with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional, mature, and confident when advising senior stakeholders.
